Copyright Policy
This policy explains rights, reuse, and author responsibilities for material published in the Global Journal of Biosciences and Environment (GJBE).
Author Rights
Authors retain the copyright of their published work unless otherwise agreed in writing with the journal. By submitting to GJBE, authors grant the journal the right of first publication, along with the non-exclusive right to distribute the work under the terms of the journal's open access license (see the Open Access and Licensing Policy).
Author Responsibilities
Authors are responsible for submitting original work and securing permissions for figures, tables, images, datasets, or other third-party content used in their manuscript. Where third-party material is reused, the source must be clearly credited in the manuscript, and evidence of permission from the copyright holder must be available on request.
Journal's Publication Record
GJBE publishes article metadata, abstracts, PDFs, HTML versions, and citation information as part of the permanent journal record. Articles published under the journal's open access policy may be shared, distributed, and cited with appropriate attribution to the authors and the journal, consistent with the CC BY 4.0 license under which they are published.
Commercial Reuse
Requests to reuse substantial portions of a published article for commercial purposes should be directed to the corresponding author and the editorial office via the Contact page. While the CC BY 4.0 license permits commercial reuse with attribution, the journal encourages such requests to be communicated to the original authors as a matter of courtesy and to support accurate attribution.
Trademarks and Journal Identity
The journal's name, logo, and branding may not be used to imply endorsement of third-party products or services without prior written permission from the editorial office.
